My name is David and I'm the guy who created this site as well as the character of MrMary MF Poppins. I am a very private person, and have never used my first name on this site, but something rather serious has happened that has given me pause for reflection.
Today while working on the site I realized that in a few days this blog will turn one years old.

In a turn of events nobody saw coming, Le Clown asked me to be the final contender in Le dü-əl between him and Edward Hotspur. I was surprised at the invitation because not only had I not been in the original lineup, but I had no idea who Hotspur even was.
First a note: Happy Mother’s day to all, from your favorite CHILDLESS MOMMY BLOGGER, ME! Second, I know a lot of you have given me some great awards and I have not, as of yet, had time to respond to them, but I promise I will in some way. So, thank you and know that a “fun with awards” type post is on the way.
Since my return to the internet. I have not even come close to catching up on all the things I've missed.
